Review: What a great idea. An activity board that gives my children a fun way to see what responsibilities they have and the rewards they receive for doing them. Believe it or not, it DOES work.

The chart is very well made and durable. I like that because we are using it all the time. We set up the chores or responsibilities for the week. The kids check it often and get great pleasure out of being able to put their magnets on the things they have completed.

We use the dry erase board to leave little messages to each other too. For instance, if one of them does a chore they don’t really like to do early in the week I will write them a note about a job well done. They might write one back that says "Thanks" or "I knew I could do it." We have a lot of fun with it. It also takes some of the pressure off the kids by being able to communicate in this fun way.

This has helped a lot in showing my children they have responsibilities too. It has helped to teach them that if they do what is expected of them they will be rewarded. The accomplishment makes them feel good about themselves. I will keep this chart around for a long time and when the kids are grown and have children of their own we’ll see they all have one too.
