This book is filled with issues that we as parents and our teenagers face. Things such as sex, suicide, school, lies, sneaking out, their beloved video games and much more are talked about in this book. I thought I knew the answers to these things, but found out I really didn’t have a clue. I spent more time yelling and crying than I did getting to the root of the problems. This book gave me a lot of ways to stop that type of behavior and resume a healthy and happy relationship with my teenager.

Raising a teenager in this day and age is not easy for any of us. We expect a lot from our children and put some pretty high expectations on them and they retaliate. It’s just how it is today. With this book I have learned to lower some of those expectations and realize I can enjoy my role as the parent of a teenager.
