Are your kids thinking about spring break? If this is
they're first year going, you probably have some anxieties
about it.
As you may know; spring break is a 1-2 week long period
where (some) high school and college kids leave the nest and go
party with friends. There are a few key things that you may
want to discuss with your child before he/she goes.

Make sure you express the dangers of drug
and alcohol use and abuse. Partying is fun but
they need to keep it safe.
Remind them not to do anything they don't
want on their record or anything that can
potential get them put out of school once
returning home.
Tell your girls that when going to spring
break they should stick together, no walking
the beach alone or wandering off without your
other girlfriends.
Remember as a parent; you too were once this
age, use that to your advantage. Spring break
is an enormous freedom, talk to your kids
before the go.
